Rent a car park in Central City on 18th Sept and transform it into a PARK (enjoyable public open space). Gapfiller are doing some things around the commons including RAD Bikes and ICECycles doing some free bike maintenance, there could be the bike blender from cycletrailers.co.nz making some free smoothies, and lots of other activities going on in car parks on Colombo, Durham, & Peterborough Streets.

Furthermore on Tuesday September 22nd it is World Car-Free Day (wiki link) which tends to go relatively unnoticed in Christchurch. One year we did hand out free fuel to cyclists (toast & jam) which went down well. This year you can make sure you leave your car at home that day and encourage others to do the same.
