Many of you will know City Councillor Mike Davidson, who is one of the cycling champions around the Council table. Mike is also undertaking a degree via the Open Polytechnic and, as part of that, he is doing a research paper examining the impact of cycleway design on the uptake of cycling in Ĺtautahi-Christchurch.
“I am hoping that this research will help aid the design of future cycleways, not just locally but nationally and help inform decision makers.”
