Thought I should introduce myself. Although I own many bicycles I rarely have the chance to get on and pedal.
All that changed about 2 months ago with my return to full-time work. Now that I am the source of income and not the spender I realise the value of a dollar, especially a dollar of petrol! So I am now a part-time cycle commuter. It is a bit of a push for me, (15km each way) but there is a lovely hot shower waiting at either end. Just battling the willpower when I see frost twinkling at me through the darkness… my family bought me one of those blindingly bright lamps for Mother’s Day, a much more useful and waistline friendly present than the usual choccies! Must introduce my wonderfully comfortable bicycle to you when I get a chance. TTFN
