If you’ve never seen a band on bicycles before, you’re in for a treat this Sunday, 29th September, when Christchurch’s Bicycle Band will lead the Cyclovia parade.
Have a look at this clip of the Dutch Army Bicycle Band to see another example of the things one can do on one’s bike. By the way, bicycling bands are nothing new; Christchurch had its very own around 1900. Check out the city library’s photo and information.
