Route: Meet outside the museum for a circuit of North Hagley Park then into Cashel Mall for an icecream (and some chocolate bars along the way to live up to the acronym).

Join in a fun ride particularly for cargo bikes, tadpoles, bike trailers, stretched bikes, Bakfiets, or any other pedal-powered vehicle that can take more than a couple of saddle bags. Standard bikes are welcome to join and be inspired by what can be done with pedal power or borrow a bike trailer for the day from Steve.

Damn! I’m going to be out of town!
I am really keen to get in contact with cargo bike contacts in Christchurch, as I am looking at getting a cargo bike for hauling significant loads for work. Is there anyone in Christchurch who is building, or who would be keen to build a cycle truck? Crank appears to be importing only the more lightweight Christianas, and I think I may need something with a bigger cargo platform…
Alternately, if anyone has something for sale (bike or trike) I would be keen to have a look 🙂
