					<description><![CDATA[Yes, much safer than 20 years ago when I stay on the cycle paths.  These aer where I prefer to ride.  My first 6-10km is generally on separated cycle paths or roads with cycle sharrows.  I still feel safe at larger intersections - I&#039;m big and use very clear hand signals and eyeballing.  I am not afraid to take the lane.  At nights I wear high-viz and ensure that my bike lights are on, the more the merrier...

But my perceived moments of danger are cars passing too close for comfort.]]></description>
