Sorry about the misunderstanding! Give it another year and we might be celebrating the “final final” link… Crushed glass is generally fine in road surfacing so long as it’s polished properly to remove angular points. But I gather that there have been some quality problems with the latest batch here.

Bummer! Sparks Road is still the same horrible ride it’s always been with cars driving past you way too fast and a very narrow shoulder. Really looking forward to this last section to be constructed as the bit between Strickland Street and Victors Road is very pleasant.
I just don’t understand why they use so much broken glass to make the green road marking (especially on Antigua and Strickland Streets). I’ve had countless punctures because of that 🙁
