Not being much of a fan of Memorial Ave on a bike , we use the bus , even though it is a 25 minute walk to the 29 route. Airports and flying are stifling when it comes to atmospheres and body movement restrictions. Nothing like some exercise and fresh air to start the journey. Simply requires quality wheels on the luggage. If in a hurry to get home, or late at night , then the cost of a one way taxi still beats the cost and hassle of airport parking. As Roy says , planning is everything.

Honestly? Buses are like railways... they go where they want to go, and only at the times scheduled.

Thanks LennyBoy. I have biked to the airport before to catch overnight or same day return flights, and have such a trip planned in January, but hadn't considered this option, which is very appealing. I'm only a 10 minute cycle from the bus exchange and, to be honest, the thought of cycling to the airport at present with all the road works for the over-bridge is a bit overwhelming. Thanks for giving me an excellent solution!!
