					<description><![CDATA[Thanks Lennyboy! I really hope that some day we will see motor traffic restricted in most of our city center. I am actually reasonably sure we will. The city centre will never ever be able to compare with those awful malls (sorry that is just my opinion) when it comes to parking and it should not even try to do this. This has been tried before the quakes and most people would agree it was not really successful. Our city centre could become a place where everybody can walk and cycle freely or hop on cheap and fast public transport. I know sounds a bit airy-fairy but this is the wish so many people expressed in the Share Idea consultation and so many of these European cities prove not only that is possible to do this but also that this attracts people to the city centre. Let&#039;s make the list with cities which have a sizable car-free area even longer...
