This could possibly be derived from the rest of the points, but i might add another point – “Keep it positive and personal”.

I once commented on an stuff article whinging about airport parking, and piped in saying could park my bike for nothing for a week, almost inside the terminal building, and got somewhat down-voted. I probably should have either shut up or written something like “The solution that works for me is …”.
